Lost
It was after midnight and my phone rings. Caller ID says it’s my mother, which is unusual she doesn’t really call me all that much. “Hello?” I say annoyed that I’m not getting my sleep. “Andrea! Get home now! Your brother went missing.” I thought I was dreaming, because I know I didn’t hear that right. “Mom, what did you say?” I asked her to say it again because I need to hear it one more time. “Andy didn’t come home tonight, I need you here to help find him.” I slowly got up off the bed and walked to the mirror and I said, “Mama, I’m sure he’s fine go to bed.” My brother expressed some concerns that he thought he felt someone following him, but each time he would turn around no one was there. I tried calling him and it would go straight to his voicemail. “Call me back, mom is freaking out. What did you do, Andy?”
