POEM STARTER
In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take.
Write a poem ending with this line.
The Times We Shared
I lie awake, looking up at the ceiling
To remember the times we shared.
Your laugh, your smile, your voice,
All of you, as sweet as honey.
I walk outside, catching the little things
You and I used to do, oh how we
Loved the little things. The strolls
You and I had, the wind singing a tune.
With you, everything was whole,
As if a void was filled within me
I should’ve asked sooner, but all
I ended up doing was stall.
I should’ve been more forward.
The times we shared, I oh so loved.
In the end, we only regret the chances
We didn’t take.
