Freedom,

Many people have died for it

Many of which were young

For it, they rioted.

Freedom,

What our country fought for

Then this country became numb

They fought in oppressiong wars.

Freedom,

Is it ever truly there?

Many don’t see the reason

Or truly they don’t care.

Freedom,

Paid for with blood

What have we become

Do we need another flood?
