The Chartreuse Room

I woke up amid several other kids my age. My indulgent temper seemed to keep as they panicked here and about.

I looked up at the azure sky, clouds seeming to frame the box, making only a square of blue. I looked back at the walls, recognizing the chartreuse color, but the room was nowhere to be found in my memory.

“Where are we?” I whispered to myself.

“Somewhere odd,” someone said to my left, their voice was deeper and richer than I expected. I turned to see a male, about half a foot taller than me with blonde hair and blue eyes.

“What’s your name?” I asked.

“Alex, you?” He replied.

“Sasha,” I said, my attention switching back to the walls.

Suddenly, a door appeared out of no where. Someone quickly opened it and ran out as quickly as they could, but disappearing just as fast.

We had no idea of where we were and no clue how to get out, a mystery as it was, I was scared. I wanted to go home, but who knows what more lays ahead…
