Write an Etheree poem on any theme you like.
An Etheree is a ten-line poem where the first line has one syllable, the second has two, and so on up to ten syllables (or this structure in reverse).
Rumination
Bed
Tucked in
Without dreams
Insomnia
Closed eyes, open mind
Restless legs, frantic thoughts
Will I ever sleep tonight?
The night leaves, day’s here once again
I open my eyes, mind still running
Another night wasted sorting through trash
