I loved you so fiercely, my heart was on fire.
You collected the ashes and kept them,
Hidden in a box behind your bed, should you need them:
Kept for safe-keeping, for just-in-case,
Because you know I would jump fast
To get those ashes back.
And to be able to love you again.
