Hear Me Out
I know what you’re thinking, a gallon of bleach? Dang you must have committed some sort of murder! But no, I wish it was that simple. It all started this morning when I was having breakfast.
I spilled milk on the floor which is nothing to cry about, but after putting the milk back I forgot about the spillage and slipped up. I fell into the table and knocked my cereal all over the floor. And I know what you’re thinking, a gallon of bleach to clean a kitchen floor after dropping your cereal? Well that wasn’t the reason for the bleach.
You see I forgot to clean a little bit of milk under the cooker, and naturally it dried up on the floor, so it was sticky. I was wearing my fluffiest socks, and they got stuck whilst I was getting my roast beef out the oven. This startled me and I dropped the tray.
Splat! Beef on the floor.
The meat juices splashed absolutely everywhere!
The floor, the table, the blinds, my freaking hair! But even after cleaning up the mess it didn’t get rid of the smell.
Beef smells good when it’s cooked. But you wouldn’t be saying that after hours of lingering in the kitchen.
So that’s why I need the bleach, much rather the smell of that than meat juices.
