POEM STARTER
Write a poem about seeing the face of someone you love.
Whether romantic, platonic, or familial love, use emotive language to convery the feeling you get when you see this person.
My Pupils
I can’t look at you straight
My eyes are just lumps of coal
They meet yours so my pupils dilate
Just like a blackhole
But you held them still
Leaving me bewildered
Maybe this hole you could fill
I never thought you’d like me unfiltered
Yet you’re still here I suppose
I should really stop waiting
When I feel I’m too close
Will I start leaving?
