STORY STARTER

Write a short story where the opening scene takes place on the edge of a cliff.

The whole story doesn't have to take place here, but try to logically tie this setting into your plot.

Weightlessness

I slowly back away from her. I can’t tell what’s more scary, her gun or her glare. She continues to walk forward, pressing the weapon into my chest. I take one more step back. Her smug look disappears as my line of vision tilts towards the sky. Weightlessness.
