POEM STARTER

Submitted by Maranda Quinn

They say forgiveness is a virtue, but I’d rather keep my anger.

Use this line as inspiration for a poem.

Anger

My anger, that nestled itself deep into my marrow before I even knew her name

My anger, humming righteously beneath my skin’s surface

An exit seeker, finding only my mouth and never my fist.

Maybe anger is a virtue too.
