I’m laying here

It’s late at night

Its raining really hard

The thunders roaring

It’s sounding loud

The house it seems to shake

The lighting flashing

Thru my window

The wind is blowing loud

It makes me think

How everyday the weather

Has to change

We never know

What comes around

It’s nature at its best

The rain is pounding

On the house

The chimes are making sounds

The shutters crackling

From the rain

It makes me want to sleep

It crazy how it changes

From raining hard

To really slow

You want to just relax

You think that it will soon be gone

Than it starts again

Raining,thunder,lightning

The wind starts up again

The windows rattle

The rain is pounding

Upon the awnings

It’s sounding really loud

I cover up my head to sleep

And wish the rain would stop
