I look at her heart

It looks just like mine

All the same scars

But we both say we’re fine

I’m not sure if it’s true

Why would I rather sit in pain

Than speak a word to someone

Who might be able to help

Though I know they can’t

It’d be nice to hope

That I could fix

What is already healed

I look at her heart
