The ocean reaching my feet

The breeze running through my hair

the quietness of nature

I sit and think

about everything

about my family

my friends

my worries

and my joys

As the tide rises up

it carries those thoughts away

into the vast ocean

I am left with myself

my thoughts emptied out into the sea

as the sun sets

I take a deep breath

and I close my eyes

letting the breeze carry me away

as I drift off into sleep
