Skating Ice

Upon the frozen pond so clear,

Where winter’s breath holds sway,

We glide and dance with joyous cheer,

In icy light of day.

Blades whisper on the crystal floor,

A rhythmic, graceful song,

Each spin and turn, a tale of lore,

As frosty winds hum along.

The world is hushed, a tranquil sight,

Beneath the sky’s cold hue,

Our figures trace through snowy light,

A ballet in silver and blue.

Laughter echoes, crisp and bright,

Hearts aloft, spirits free,

In this realm of pure delight,

We skate in harmony.

The chill may bite, but we don’t mind,

For in this wintry art,

We leave the worries far behind,

And dance with all our heart.
