In The Corner
I lay in bed with only the bright light from my cell phone to keep me occupied for what’s about to come.
For weeks now it’s been coming no later or no less than three in the morning. I’ve never seen anything like it.
It was now one minute till. I slowly slid under the covers, only my nose, hair, and eyes to be seen.
Grabbing the remote and flipping the tv on i quickly searched through the channels until finally stopping at a Horror movie. It’s never seen one.
It came as usual and on time, latching itself on to the corner of the dark room it’s bulging yellow eyes fixated on the screen.
Every kill from the movie excited it as it bursted out in maniacal laughter, every dagger shaped tooth in its mouth visible with every one.
Out of nowhere the laughter stopped, it’s head turned slowly my direction, it’s eyes now fixed on a new target. “Another.” Was the only word it spoke.
