I walked into my girlfriend’s dorm. She was alone this time which was surprising because usually her roommate is in here too. Always being nosy. I’m happy she wasn’t here today though because today is important. I’ve left Alice in the dark for too long and things are getting serious with the villians

“There’s something I’ve been meaning to talk to you about,” I said with the most serious tone I’ve ever had in my life.

“What’s wrong?” She said obviously worried. This was a first for me so I was nervous and I think she could tell. I took a deep breath and,

“I’m the masked hero that’s been on the news recently.” I said it, I told her, she knows now. There’s no turning back now. She didn’t respond. she just… sat there dumbfounded

“I wanted to tell you but I was worried that if you knew I would be putting you in danger and I still feel like you are in danger but I had to tell you.” I said confidently. The shaking stopped at this point.

“You… can you leave and give me a minute?” She responded still with the same dumbfounded expression and tone.

“Okay, take as long as you need” I told her as I left the room. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off of me but at the same time I have a bad feeling.
