I eyed him from my lenses’ rims

As he chatted with Christina.

She giggled.

He ran his hands through

His hair

While laughing with Terry.

I’ll be honest.

I gagged.

Because I realized that

With style and with

His outgoing friendliness

Comes

Rizz.

A shiver of fear

Because he poses a danger.

But a sense of entertainment

Because high school romances
