WRITING OBSTACLE
Submitted by Lizzie Rose.
Write a poem or story about fog, steering away from any horror themes.
Usually when we think of fog, our minds come up with a daunting image. Try to make your story/poem beautiful.
Daybreak
As the golden rays touched the chilled pickup,
Its glare fought against wintered earth. Fog’s up.
Light creeped into my eyes that woke me from slumber. Once snug in zipped up cocoon numb,
I in sleep unzipped cocoon to frogs’ hum.
I stepped out to morning dew upon sod.
Misty lake lay placid before me hawed.
Man cast his rod into hazy abyss
To catch his prey in brigadoon bliss.
