Interesting take on the prompt. Which sport are you connecting to mental illness? I’m also curious about the tautological conundrum of the Weir quote. If ‘mental illness is very common’ yet it it ‘not often recognized,’ how does Weir know that it is ‘very common?’ I think if you want to include that quote it may be helpful to support it. Similarly, what metric is used to justify the ‘barely enough awareness’ claim?
Note: Your topic is an important one and not to be downplayed. I’m just evaluating the writing.
