New York

Lights hang above beating hearts,

Everyone came from different starts.

Unfamiliar sounds fill the village,

Broken lovers to pillage.

Welcome to the city,

Waiting for you, pretty.

Beats to dance to forever,

New domains, new endeavor.

It’s a place of love, great and true,

Staying real may mean changing you.

It’s crazy and keeps you guessing,

This wild metropolis blessing.

Hearts beat beneath the hanging light,

With varied paths leading to this site.

Strange sounds echo through the town,

As shattered love is left to drown.

Enter the city with open eyes,

A place of glamour and surprise.

Forever dancing to the beat,

New journeys await, so sweet.

Love abounds, both pure and real,

Transforming souls with each ordeal.

The madness leaves you in suspense,

But this urban life is a great defense.
