Life Without You
It would be so simple, without you
I would know who I am, and I would know who I can count on
I would be happier, in a sense
Being alone is what I’m used to, after all
I’m an introvert by nature
But I’d be so bored
Without your cheeky grin, or your goofy laugh
Your chasm eyes
Life without you would be bland
I would get lost without you holding my hand
Life without you is my new normal
It’s become my greatest fear, and it’s the reason I cry under the blankets every minute I have to myself
I’m so sad without you
I thought you loved me
But I became a stranger in your life so fast
It’s so lonely.
And It’s what I wake up to every day.
Life without you is the life I have to live.
I should’ve noticed when your eyes started to die around me.
