Garrulous
I was born with a few odd quirks
That have made life all the more interesting
I was born with a brain
All the doctors have proof
Yet to my disdain
My mind is aloof
For not I do think
My visions are flawed
My mind’s filled with ink
But nothing is drawed
I must have a heart
I’ve got doubts, I’ve got fears
But from my life’s start
My eyes have shed no tears
I feel it in my chest
A steady beat and thrum
And I place my hand over SOMETHING
During the National Anthem
But oh the worst oddity of all
Is a souless abyss that is this
Numb numb
I beat and I thrum
But the ink is spilled
The soul is gone
So I’m leaving now
Farwell hopeful one.
GARRULOUS- talking a lot, especially about something unimportant
