Write a poem that addresses the theme of corruption. This is an uncommon theme to express poetically, so think about different types of corruption, and how they can best be explored through poetry.
Führer
The crowd below the terrace shouts: “führer!”
The skies above sigh rays of slight and sun;
That engulf the man upon the stage;
In that he’s blinded from reality—
The wind howls in vengeance for what he’s done,
And from the ashes his posterity;
And yet he cannot hear nor see
