The Vanity

_I am made entirely of flaws, _ _stitched together by good intentions._ __ _Not lacking in virtue by all its laws,_ _Though, _ _who has achieved their personal brand of perfection?_ __ _Oh, do point me in their direction…_ __ _I will be the mirror,_ _For those who aren’t yet vain or wise enough _ _to hold one to themselves._ __ _And once captivated,_ _Caught in all their illusions of grandeur…_ _Having become them,_ _I will reflect them._ _Reminding them of the ego they so adore,_ _And revealing the imperfections they wish to ignore._ __ _For at the very core…_ _They are made entirely of flaws,_ _Stitched together by good intentions._ __ __ __ __
