Whispers that come in the night
Often carry further than those in the day
The stillness of the air brings forth the secrets we keep
No matter the lie, the whispers will seep
Through the garden,
Through the streets,
Anywhere and Everywhere
Secrets can keep
I like your different take on this prompt! Our poems ended up somewhat similar in length and structure. I’m new at this, so I don’t have much critical feedback to give. I did like how you used a different definition of “keep” in the last lines. It plays well on showing how “keeping secrets” never pans out forever.
