Thoughts Of Reflection

Sitting in a room by herself in silence, reading the historical context from a book series titled The Royal Diaries: Anastasia; The Last Grand duchess, in the book, it recounts the tumultuous political upheaval, and uncertainty, Anastasia and her family endured in the midst of the revolution, being held in captivity and imprisoned in the Ipatiev house in Yekaterinburg, the family were suffering mentally, emotionally, and psychologically, by the mistreatment they endured at the hands of the Bolsheviks.

Anastasia and her family were experiencing together, in the early morning hours of July 17, 1918 the family was woken up, told to get dressed by the guards, the family followed them down a steep staircase leading to the basement, on a pretext, the family will be rescued from their captivity, but tragically little did they know, the family will soon begin their Journey to the kingdom of heaven as martyrs.

While reading the unsettling events occurred over a hundred and six years ago to the Romanovs, the emotions, and tears were spilling out from her eyes, she felt empathy, compassion, and sympathy towards the family who endured so much adversity, and struggles during their captivity lasted for a year and a half.

She began singing beautifully with power, and emotion the haunting melodies, and lyrics to Once Upon a December in the Russian language, to honor, and pay homage to the royal martyrs, but in the back of her mind, she can still hear the voices, and screams from the Romanov sisters pleading for their lives, in the midst of their execution by the Bolsheviks, and the guards.

She had always had a love, admiration, and respect for the Romanovs, especially the grand duchesses, and their love, and devotion within their family.
