WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a dialogue scene in which two characters have an important conversation while playing hide and seek.
How will you use this scenario to compliment the dialogue?
Hide better, Hyung.
"Hyung, you know I'll find you, right?"
Jung's voice echoed through the dark warehouse filled with dusty boxes and the smell of old wood. He walked slowly, deliberately lazily, giving Hyung a chance to hide better.
"You're too confident, Jeongguk," a voice came from behind the shelves. "Maybe you'll lose this time?"
Jungkook chuckled, adjusting his shirt sleeve.
"You don't believe it yourself."
Silence.
Dark eyes slid around the room, looking for the slightest movement. A board creaked somewhere. Jeongguk instantly rushed forward, pushing open the door to the side room.
Empty.
"You said you loved me, Hyung," he continued, pretending to give in. — But why do you always run?
A shadow flashed in the corner. Jungkook turned around abruptly, heard a quiet exhale, and then — with a jerk — grabbed Hyun's wrist, pulling him towards himself.
— Got it.
Hyun's chest heaved heavily, but he did not try to break free.
— So what now? — His voice trembled, but not from fear.
Jungkook slowly ran his finger along his cheek, slightly squeezing his chin.
— Now I'll tell you the truth.
— You always say that, — Hyun exhaled hoarsely.
Jungkook did not answer right away. He leaned closer, burning the skin with his warm breath.
— I don't know how to let go.
— I know.
— You don't want to leave either, right?
Hyun gritted his teeth, but his hands tightened on Jeong's shoulders instead of pushing him away.
"I hate you," he whispered.
"And I love you," Jeong grinned, leaning his head down to his lips. "And I think I won again."
