Moonlight And Sunrise
She was a fairy in the lake
Golden locks that flowed so gently
Akin to the orchids in moonlight
A fluttering dress that waves like the ocean
When she looked down upon my figure
That lick of ember erupted like storms
I burned and silently wailed within
Her gaze was somber and yet so bright
Her smile as pure as the soft young lamb
I myself was like the sun just rising up
Reaching out to greet her in the sky
But I always knew that she was the greatest moon
While we could be off chasing each other
My deepest desire set alight like a flame
I am now that unstoppable wildfire
My heart is hers for all that it’s worth
