when the sky meets the ground 🔷

Birds circled overhead, and they cannot be shoot with a gun, or trapped in a cage. This birds follow my mind and soul around, they don’t need a leash, neither holding onto my bones. I can feel them, but they’re not here to be seen. Birds circled overhead, they do not make sharp sounds, neither they stay quiet. I can hear them say something way more far from the tongue and throat. A daily reminder that whatever I can’t let go will eventually become part of me. Will eventually adhere to my lungs. I’ve been unable to take a deep breath. I’m scared of wings.
