POEM STARTER

"She dropped her dress, and her inhibitions, at the door."

This is an example of a syllepsis, where the meaning of a verb (here 'dropped') is both physical and metaphorical. Write a poem that includes a syllepsis (do not use the example).

Poem Starter

She dropped her dress, and her inhibitions, at the door.

Crawled over alll euphoria for her hunting snack

I backed up from the half cat half human like lioness prowess of her downed left gown dress on the ground floor. Outside no down pour. No rain going on for months, now four.

Horrors poor and pound how she liked to drown guests and didn’t like getting gowns wet. Liked to kill while smelling her own sweat.
