FIGHT!
Juan stood at the center, with Boaz on one side of him and Jachin on the other. Libra called out: "FIGHT!"
The twins lunged toward him simultaneously, Jachin aiming a high kick and Boaz attempting to push Juan into Jachin's foot. Juan spun himself sideways and grabbed onto Boaz's collar.
Boaz landed a massive blow to Juan's jaw. Juan's vision went black, but his hand kept its grip on Boaz's shirt. He got the other side of Boaz's collar as his vision returned, the angry bearded mug staring him full in the face.
Juan turned Boaz around so that he was blocking Jachin. Juan then stomped as hard as he could on Boaz's knee, with an audible crack. Boaz screamed, and as he started to fall, Juan pulled the shirt over his head and kneed him in the head, again and again.
Jachin tried to get around his brother, but Juan had him before he could move enough to get close. Boaz's body went slack in Juan's arms and Juan tossed him aside.
"Twins with a symbiotic mind connection - I bet you felt all the pain he was going through while I was beating your brother unconscious. Sucks, right?" Juan laughed ruefully.
"You're going to pay for that," said Jachin quietly. Libra's mouth opened wide in shock.
"Ha!" Exclaimed Juan. "I knew you weren't mute."
Jachin ran at him, arms out wildly, and Juan dodged sideways, then aimed a spinning elbow at Jachin's head. It connected and Jachin lurched downward.
Juan caught Jachin's arm as it was dropping and twisted it back. Jachin yelped as Juan pulled Jachin's wrist up between his shoulder blades until he heard it crack. Juan cut the Pillar's feet out from under him and Jachin feel hard.
Juan knelt over him and grabbed a handful of Jachin's hair. "Do you yield?" Jachin spat blood back at him.
Sighing, Juan drove Jachin's head into the floor until the second Pillar went slack.
He wiped the blood out of his eyes as he stood and fixed his eyes on Libra. "Now," he said, his teeth rattling in his jaw, "are you prepared to listen to reason?"
Libra clapped slowly. “Impressive, Juan, come, pull up a chair and sit next to me.”
His ears were ringing and he saw spots in his vision, but he complied, dragging a heavy chair over to her throne.
She reached out and gently took his hand. He felt his head calm, the ringing quiet, and his breathing grew less ragged. “There, good as new.” She smiled.
Juan hadn’t realized how much he was hurting until she healed him. He could see and think clearly now. “Will you heal them too?” He asked, motioning to the unconscious twins.
Libra snorted. “I don’t waste time with losers, Juan. They can find their own healers when they regain consciousness. We have more important work to do.”
Juan shrugged. He would help them if they would accept it, when the time came. “So what’s really going on with the Giants?” He demanded.
