Sometimes I feel trapped in my own house. Like ill never be able to escape from this place , this madness. Being in this castle and not being able to leave his deafening. Cold and empty as the world sees it, or rather how it doesn’t.

I suppose it was me who got me into this mess when I decided that I wanted to be King one day. I could’ve stepped down and let my brother take the thrown. My father always liked him better anyway. But however I was the eldest so I naturally got a choice. I like to say I,m doing this for me, for a better future ]. A stronger future. But really I was just doing it to spite my father. He knows that I wont reign the country how he sees fit.

I might as well just back down now. I sighed and looked out the windows to the main village. Someday this will all be mine. I should feel more happy but I feel overwhelmed and pressured. What had I got myself into.
