Hunt
It was there. The Human. His bold eyes directed on his prey, moving along with it, with me. I didn’t know what to do, I’m always safe with my mother. But I am mature now, I have grown. From a bony, fleshless creature, I am now a meaty delight for it, for him.
His tall, lean body, avoiding the dry leafs and bushy paths to avoid my notice.
But I run, pushing hard as my four legs could carry me. Suddenly a loud banging voice showered the forest, the birds flew away in sake of their life.
He has the killing machine with him.
I run faster, he yells a sharp word at me.
The bang booms over the plane once more. Suddenly a sharp pain injects my ribs, it has hit me. My eyes become faint, my life is over when it has only just begun.
“The kids will sure love this.” Is all I hear until, Silence.
