Best Friends Forever…
It only took a split-second. All I could grasp was an unhinging ringing and a hurdling pain permeating through my spine. Through the blurred haze of my eyes all I could make out was Jessie. Just Jessie. He looked sort of panicked and overwhelmed, so with the reluctant regain of my strength I forced myself to sit up.
My eyes trailing farther down now noticing Allen. Although his body seemed flaccid. Red dripped off the dock making a small pool of in the murky water below. Like a glimmer in the sunlight, revealed Jessie’s shaken hand, with a knife. About 4 inches long.

“I-I didn’t mean to! I m-mean I didn’t do it! It just happened!” Over and over he says rambling trying to convince me Of the situation. My head still indistinct, could only stare at Allen. Then Jessie’s stance tightened, and he got hostile.
“You think I did it huh…” his stare pierces me. Having the last few minutes to recuperate myself, I scrambled to my feet.

All that could be heard was that horrific gurgling and the sound of the wind through the trees before his body went limp.

I stumbled over and glared at the knife in what used to be Jessie. Feeling the smooth handle blood dripped on my finger tips and I removed the blade. Taking a deep breath, I lay on the dock, staring at the clouds as the sirens relay closer. The flashing of red and blue lights now in view. I close my eyes, lay fate to my neck and…
