The open window
Let’s in the rain
Every night
As I lie alone
In a bed for two
The open window
Won’t let me close it
The room fills with water
As I sleep
It goes over my head
The open window
Lets the water in
But it won’t spill out
As it fills my lungs
I gladly drown
The open window
Might finally shut
One day in the future
As I finally let go
But I know I can’t let go
