Humanity has taken centuries to form,

A dynasty that heaven couldn’t shake,

Yet so easily broken.

So flawed in its own righteousness,

Together we created our own destruction.

War, violence, poverty, and oppression.

Why is it that when we stand alone these problems cease to be problems.

Is it because when we think for ourselves and not of the whims of a king or presidency we can see the flaws of our own system.

Or is it because moral is different from person to person.

Misguided sure, but perhaps we ought to stop electing our own desmise and start remembering a time where all we had was trust, amnisty, and faith.

Maybe then we can heal the wounds that our broken society has made.
