The space between the stars holds endless possibility, opportunity and doom. Why stay on this small orb revolving around someone else’s sun? Why not kindle your own solar system? You know it is not this sun’s gravity that holds you back. It is the dark cold mixed with hastily erratic explosions that you must conquer to establish that new constellation. Like drowning in endless crashing waves and lightning reflected from every which direction. This can only end when you make order of it.

The beautiful chaos is what drew you to it. Orion, Sagittarius- you think of your inspirations. Is it not in your cards? Or are you simply not willing to use that energy you saved to swim back to shore, take a load off and bathe in someone else’s sun?

Then you remember their inspirations, who the builders you admired recount was their strength when their hope waivered. They acknowledged a great beyond in their pursuit to surpass the unacheiveable. They sounded crazy, yes, they remarked on the support of family…but it was a greater force on which they built an unbreakable foundation of trust and confidence in the process. An insanity they all had. Trust, regardless of outcome. A Faith. A Faith that let them know they weren’t alone and that we all were coded with the same DNA that made our gods.

But here you are. Standing on the shoreline, watching the darkness between the stars. Let this courage lift you off this planet to start.
