POEM STARTER
Write a series of three haikus about different aspects of something you love.
Haikus have the syllabic form of 5, 7, 5 syllables per line. Consider how you could use multiple Haiku to create a three-dimensional portrait of your chosen thing.

He’s my guardian,
In his arms, I find a home.
Shattered hearts can mend.
Knows just what to say.
Gives me strength when I am weak.
Never felt so loved.
He’s my guiding light.
Even on my darkest days,
He stands by my side.
I wish I could count,
The reasons I love him. But,
It’s impossible.
