Closed Mouths Don’t Get Fed.
Didn’t one of your loved ones tell you, beggars cannot be choosers?
As I sit here, hidden between the school kids, it really just reminds me of the carefree days I had in school.
Around my feet there is sparrows crawling, busking for crumbs. There’s a lady on a saxophone, she’s busking to make a living. Her CDs are $15.00. The kids and teenagers are care free, they only have to worry about the boy who has a crush on her or her friend.
No one pays attention to the lady with the saxophone, but I do. I notice everything.
She’s beautiful, her soul is golden. She wears a straw hat and is dressed in the colours of the rainbow.
I observe the passer-by’s, they seem lost like they are waiting for someone to follow. They miss someone, they all miss their omegas. All I can do is wish, wish that every day would be like this. Care free, around the birds and the children.
I haven’t lost hope, I never will. I know all my family is around, I just need to close my eyes and think for a moment.
Closed mouths are worn by the adults, they seem lost, will spot find his home?
He has to, he just has to. Because he needs to make his daddy proud.
