The Monster

As the waves crashed against the rocks and the foundation of the lighthouse, the people inside were terrified for their lives. For they did not know wether they would live this horrible event or die a terrible death.

I came torward the building and saw the waves overflowing the bottom floor of the house. I heard the faint screams that came from the top of the house and feared for the people who were inside.

I rose from the depths of the waters and came up high into the air looking at the tower. It was put together with gray stones and was cover with moss and seaweed. It was a built on a strong rock but would not withstand for long.

I looked behind my back and saw a wave that easily was bigger than myself and I knew that if wave hit the people in this house, it would certainly kill them.

Coming up to the house I grounded myself and waited the oncoming disaster. I felt the water rise and then a great collision. I was pushed forward almost touching the building.

The water came over him and beside him, going in ever direction except torwards the house. As I backed away from the house, the storm was calm but the hurt my body felt was unbearable. I looked down at my belly and saw the ocean through a huge gaping hole.

Knowing that the family was all right and would survive the night, and that the tower would last a little longer, I sank into the ocean to die a lonely death.
