Strange Cities

All cities are the same all over the world. Mcdonalds and starbucks on every corner, and beggars placed on the floor with a hat or bucket in front of them, usually at the top of an elevator coming up from the train station.

All big cities have that same musty smell, a mixture of dog wee and damp. The tall buildings overshadow the streets, so the sunlight never shines through - it may peek through at times but never for long.

And the people that live in cities match their surroundings; gloomy callous and cruel.

Cities have no heart; they are as dead inside as the overwhelming grey concrete.

Coties are indeed strange places.
