POEM STARTER

Life in Your Hands

Write a poem or short story about if you were death and had to choose each day who must die.

Life In Your Hands

I watch from afar,

Omniscient,

Omnipresent,

Black robes, no gavel.

A Santa of survival,

I see your deeds,

Good and bad.

My gift is sweet release.

Some days I let chaos reign,

I roll the die,

And then you die.

Another soul for the collection.

Sometimes I remove your pain,

But mostly I am the cause.

I’m necessary,

I’m unavoidable,

I’m inescapable,

I’m here…
