Paradox - a phrase which would appear to contradict itself, but makes metaphorical sense. Write a poem that starts and ends with a different paradox.

I Hate That I Love You

I hate that I love you I am plagued by you I hate that I crave your words Even though they come from wicked fangs I am your burden I am your punishment I am your reminder that sometimes… Things do get worse. I am what you think you deserve Your self deprecating choices I hate that my heart is bound to yours It’s unfair I have been someone’s punishment since birth And that is my punishment
