There’s this empty place in my mind

A place that’s miserable and sad

It is far beyond the word ‘bad’

Because it’s a place that isn’t very kind

In that place in my head

Shattered windows are in every house

With a small pessimistic mouse

That keeps saying I should be dead

And you can’t enter this place

It’s only me who can

It’s the Depression Canyon

And it breaks me without a trace
