The Hospital

Instead of executing the Sanglorians, Juan finished with settling the sick and wounded prisoners into the Vimana, and met with the Indigo commanders who were taking over the administration of Dibuis prison. The captured Sanglorians took the place of the prisoners. A tribunal council of Indigo, Xanthic, and Harlequin elves would administer justice, conducting trials for war crimes and genocide.

With the Indigo Colonel Zoe, Juan discussed the care of the children. Zoe explained that he has kin in the village adjoining Dibuis prison, and that mothers and grandmothers were ready to house and nurture the freed children so their parents or relatives could be located. If no relatives were found, they would be adopted by these families. Juan shook Zoe's hand gratefully.

Juan reboarded his Vimana with hundreds of passengers secure in bunks, chairs, and hospital beds miraculously generated by the airship. He rose to the Crown of the ship by the central elevator, and soon the Vimana Death was airborne, returning to Acis.

Oberon's white Vimana Conquest crossed Juan's view, traveling toward Dibuis. Oberon checked in with Juan telepathically, explaining that he was transporting Sanglorian prisoners of war, and they would be housed with the Dibuis Sanglorians. Juan wished him well, and landed within minutes at the hospital in Acis.

White coated Harlequin and Golgonozzan physicians and nurses were ready outside the hospital, accepting the stretchers and helping to transport the remaining patients. Juan marveled at their cooperation and dedication, as these prisoners were given IVs, wheelchairs, and crutches. He knew that only hours before, many had be crumpled on concrete floors, awaiting death, and having abandoned all hope.

With his Vimana empty of all passengers, Juan returned to the Crown and contacted Libra for the next orders. She told him that Scorpio would hold the city and maintain the blockade from the air. Juan should return with her and Oberon to Cashel so that they could contact the governments of the world, announcing the liberation of Acis, the defeat of Malachus and the Sanglorians, and the new government of Cuahalan.

Juan agreed and piloted his Vimana back toward Cashel. Acis receded into the distance, and landmarks like the City of Pyramids flew by moments later. Soon he was floating outside the volcano door into Cashel once more. He descended the staircase and entered the stone doorway. Before the Indigo soldier closed the door, Juan turned and watched the airship submerge itself in the water and disappear from view, ready should he need it again.

Descending the staircase, Juan was greeted by deafening cheers from the Indigo and Xanthic elves in the commmon hall. He was hugged, clapped on the back, and picked up by multiple elves, laughing and thanking him. Juan put on the laurel crown of victory handed to him gratefully. Finally he made his way into the meeting room where Libra and Oberon waited.

Juan hugged Libra and shook Oberon's hand, before Oberon embraced him. "You have no idea what you've done for me and my people!" Oberon exclaimed, releasing Juan with a huge smile. "My ancestors can sleep in peace now."

Hesitating, Juan asked, "Oberon did you... find your son?"
