Write an Epode based on any theme you like.
An Epode is a style of poetry where each verse is two lines which differ in meter and structure, but the second line is always shorter than the first.
The Dream
Can’t stop thinking about you
Always on my mind.
Intoxicating sweet whisperings
Seductive temptation
That warm fuzzy feeling
Spreading within
Some long ago memory
A quick escape
But you are not good for me
Unhealthy and bad
Wrong turn on the pathway
Poisonous detours
My white chocolate caramel cappuccino
Right there in my dreams
