Chaos Finds Calm?

I stood there, studying the world around me. At the time i would’ve never known the Chaos to come. The catastrophe that would follow calm was like none other. In that silent moment before each after I took a deep breath of the exotic air. I could hear birds chirping and muffled talking. That day we where walking along the ring of fire. No fear in sight, because of course we thought these monstrous volcanoes active days where over. We where wrong. In that nanosecond of time all had been flipped. I heard screaming. The pounding of thousands of footsteps running across the dirt. Mud flew everywhere but I didn’t react. I saw volcano after volcano erupt. Thick, gooey lava came running down the crusty sides of volcanos. Villages evacuating sirens blaring, but I stood still. In the great Chaos I was calm. My senses heightened as the lava neared. I heard the oozing and crumbling of disaster. I saw the glow of the red and orange hues of lava. I felt the ground beneath me shaking but I stood strong. I could taste the smoke that pierced my lungs. I could smell burning. And in that moment when disaster was at its peak I felt my self submerge in a shower of lava. My skin tingled as I lost feeling. Everything became numb and I lost sense after sense. Finally I deteriorated into nothingness.
