I’m here
Another day finished with an exhausting amount of work. People really do like their entertainment and that’s coming from me who thinks TV is a waste of time. I walked through the merry go round to get to the Ferris wheel. The night version of the park is my favorite. No loud screams or lovey dovey couples trying to make out at one of the love tunnels, it was just silence and I like that.
I pushed the buttons on the control panel and the door opened. I hope this kid would do me some good for today. The kid was lost, hoping to find his mummy somewhere but she left. The park is not only for enjoyment, it’s also a dump for kids and if they don’t want them, we do.
I went down the spiral stairs and down to the room where the kid is held. My men said he’s and fighter and I hoped he is because I need something new to keep me sane.
“Hi kid” I said announcing my arrival to him. The kid looked back at me with a glare. I like him and his attitude, I just hope he can keep it up.
“Where’s my mommy?” He asked his 7 year old hands turning into a fist. He reminds me of me when I first arrived, giving attitude to the park master and have hopes that my dear mother would come back.
“Oh, your mommy is gone” I flatly replied. I don’t want to make it like there’s hope because there’s not.
“She’s not. She’s here.” He said like it was a fact and it made me smile in amusement. I feel like he is a bit interesting.
“Oh is she?” I tease looming over him. His eyes filled with fire that I wished I have had over the years. He’s not scared or even a little bit shaken up.
“Where’s your mother then?” I should have fun while doing this.
