To My Sister

Dear Tami,

If I could count all the ways I love you, I’d count for the rest of my life.

I know we fight over silly things every other day, like if you or I should turn off the bedroom light, or which of us gets to do the tablet. I know I’m seven years older than you, and I know I should set you a good example, but I’m sorry to say, I’m not perfect.

I’m sorry about all the times I’ve called you names or told you you were spoiled because you were the baby for ten years. (You are.)

I can only name a few things I love about you, like the way your hair always has to be perfect or leaving your socks off just to irritate Lyman. I love the way you get up at five o’clock in the morning just to play Legos with Kyle and Kaden. I love how you play hide and seek with Ethan and how you take him outside, even though he never wants to come back in. I love the way you take for granted the fact that you have diabetes and the way you pretend you don’t care when everybody gets to eat something, but you can’t because it’s wheat. I would go on forever, if I could count all the ways I love you. 💕

You’re Sister,

SadieMae
