The Revelation
Humans are meant to be loved and held tight,
But somehow that changed, and it just isn’t right.
People are used, tossed away like old toys,
While things are adored, bringing shallow joys.
Phones and clothes are all we seem to adore,
While hearts break apart, ignored even more.
We’re meant to connect, to care and to share,
But things get the love, and people get wear.
When did it happen? When did we trade?
People for things, and kindness that fades.
Humans are precious, not meant to be used,
Yet here we are—broken, confused.
